Mobile app development

A useful experience.
Wherever people are.

React Native app development for iOS and Android. We connect useful mobile journeys with the content, backend and services behind your product.

OverviewWhat it can includeQuestions

Hand-drawn mobile app screens and a touch interaction

good things, on the go.

At a glance

Give the app
a clear reason to exist.

An app should make a recurring task easier to complete. We start with how people will use it, where mobile adds value and which services it needs to connect with, before defining the development scope.

A clear core journeyPrioritise the task people need to complete on mobile.

Connected web and mobilePlan a coherent experience where the product spans both.

Defined release requirementsAgree platform coverage and release responsibilities before building.

Where it helps

A practical place
to start.

New mobile products

Build the first experience around a specific audience and useful task.

Connected products

From build to release

One product.
Across platforms.

01

React Native delivery

Our cross-platform mobile specialism is React Native. GutUp is a delivered example across iOS and Android.

02

Backend and administration

We connect mobile apps with backend services and admin portals. NestJS and PostgreSQL are our usual backend and database foundation.

03

Release management

Store account management, submissions and ongoing releases can form part of your agreement. Expo is an option where appropriate; it was not used for GutUp.

Behind the work

A relationship that kept evolving.

GutUp grew from an idea into mobile and web experiences, followed by ongoing product work. It is one example of how a first release can become a continuing partnership.

Useful answers

A little clarity.

Can you manage app store releases?

Yes. We can manage store accounts, submissions and ongoing releases on your behalf. Responsibilities and continuing coverage are agreed in the project or annual maintenance contract.

Who owns the work after handover?

Code is usually owned by the client and managed by NoLoopTech, subject to the project agreement. Source access, hosting accounts, documentation, editing guidance and third-party licences are clarified before development.

What testing is included?

Manual QA covers the devices and journeys agreed in scope. Automated unit testing can be included where the budget and timeline allow. Browser coverage and any performance, accessibility or security reviews are agreed explicitly.

Would a website be enough?

It may be. We compare the task, frequency of use and any device requirements before deciding whether an app adds useful value.

Have you worked across web and mobile?

Yes. We delivered GutUp’s React Native app for the iOS App Store and Android Play Store, followed by its web application and ongoing product development.

Can you improve an existing app?

We review its current experience and technical setup first. That helps define the practical scope and dependencies for the next stage.
