We liked our old website. It represented an earlier chapter of NoLoopTech, and it served a purpose. But as our work evolved, it became harder to keep the website moving with us.
Updating content meant involving developers. Making changes for search visibility was difficult to manage. We also lacked a clear view of what happened after someone arrived: how they found us, which pages they explored and whether the website was helping the right people discover our work.
Eventually, the question became bigger than whether we needed a new design. We needed a website that better supported the company we were becoming.
Making room for the next chapter
Our experience now spans business websites, online stores, custom applications and continuing product partnerships. We wanted that breadth to be easier to understand.
The new website brings our work into three clear ways of working together: building a product, adding a dedicated team, and creating websites and e-commerce experiences.
These give prospective clients a starting point. Someone with an early product idea has different questions from a business replacing its website or a team looking for ongoing development support. The website should help each person recognise where we could fit.
Giving the work more space
We wanted visitors to see what we have done and understand our contribution.
That meant giving projects their own stories: the client’s need, the work we took on and the decisions behind it. It also meant being clear about our role, including where we collaborated with other designers or teams.
Trust grows from those details. A list of services can explain what a company offers. Real examples help people understand how that experience might apply to their own business.
A lighter design, with more of us in it
One of the changes we feel most strongly about is the move towards a lighter visual identity.
The cream background, softer colours and more open layouts give the content room to breathe. We wanted the website to feel welcoming and considered, with enough personality to reflect the people behind the work.
We paid attention to the words too. Every section needed a reason to be there. Could someone scan it, understand what we meant and find a useful next step?
The aim was to make our work easier to understand while giving visitors a better sense of who they would be working with.
Building something we can keep improving
The rebuild also comes with a more practical ambition: to take a more active role in managing our content, search visibility and marketing.
We want to understand how people discover NoLoopTech and use that knowledge to improve the website over time. That requires more than a new look. Content management, measurement and ongoing attention all have a part to play.
This direction will extend beyond the website. We want the same clarity, warmth and sense of purpose to carry into how we present ourselves across our social channels.
The new website is a clearer introduction to NoLoopTech: our work, our people and where we want to go next.
We hope it makes it easier to see where we could help you, too.
